Villa Luka is a hidden gem. We were looking for a stay away from the crowds at the sea (though still reachable if we would want to) in order to rest and settle down before driving back home. The house lies outside of the village on a hill, with a stunning view into the valley and towards the Biokovo mountains. Waking up in the morning with his view is just beautiful. We enjoyed how quiet it is around the house. You basically hear … nothing, except maybe for a nightingale. The house and the rooms are spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and we loved the shady places under the trees in front of the house. There is also a pool to chill down and space to do morning Yoga practice. Kristina’s communication was perfect and Danica’s welcoming and friendly hosting will make us come back – hvala!

Estive em Svib, Villa Luka, em Setembro de 2016.  Foram três dias na companhia da mãe e da avó de Kristina. Tudo me encantou ali. A casa e sua decoração clean e acolhedora ao mesmo tempo. A comida, como em toda Croacia, deliciosa. Os arredores com sua paisagem única, que merece algumas caminhadas.

Ah! E tem Brko, o gato!!! E Bella, o cachorro. Não imagino Villa Luka sem eles.
Tenho planos de visita-los outra vez logo.

After having visited Villa Luka and spent a full day with the lovely hosts I can highly recommend going here. The surrounding nature is beautiful and the historical house has been renovated with care.

A really lovely place in the Croatian country side. Thank you Kristina and Danica for taking such good care of us, I can’t wait to see you again!
